I have reciently picked up another Mustang, this is my 6th, and I am in Australia (must be some type of record)
One day I might be able to keep one and not be forced to sell.
It’s a solid 67 roller, had a lot of work unterneath, all new aftermarket grab a track suspension, has a plastic style fuel line with return line, Kelsey Hays style front brakes, adjustable proportional valve and a few other desirable things.
Out back someone has thrown a 7.25 under it with no drums just to keep it on 4 wheels.
Yesterday I picked up a Exploder 8.8 from a local wreckers for $200 Aussie Dollars, not bad, complete with brakes, handbrake and hydraulic lines.
My question is, how far out are the Exploder spring perches to actually working?
1/2” a side? More?
Could a steel plate be added on top of the exploder perches to keep the spring centrally located and a new spring locator hole drilled.
