Fastback Coat Hooks?

I'm restoring a 1965 fastback and I'm ready to install a new headliner. My question is about the coat hooks: did all the early fastbacks come with coat hooks? I've been to a few car shows and looked inside the fastbacks to see where the coat hooks go but on my car I do not see any screw holes for coat hooks.

Thanks,

My October 64 Dearborn built fastback doesn't have them either.

I have seen them in 66's, maybe late 65's had them as well.

Thanks for all of the replies.

My fastback schedule date is Oct 20, 1964 at San Jose and it does not have the holes for the coat hooks. Evidently that is not unusual. I'll just throw my coat in the back seat.

Thanks,

Wow, I didn't know there was such a variance on coat hooks in early Mustangs. I always assumed all Mustangs got coat hooks. I wonder if anyone has ever done any research on which cars got 'em and which didn't.
