Yesterday, I decided to put on new front and rear shocks I got from NPD. When I went to torque down the bolts, I used 15 ft. Lbs of torque which was 180 inch pounds on the torque wrench I was using. The torque wrench I have does not have ft lb measurements, but only inch pound measurements. I got this measurement from the forums. Except, another person said I should use 25 ft lbs. This caused the bottom shock bolt to shear off and I ended up losing time to do the rest at the end of the day.

EDIT: I found the correct torque specs and don't need help anymore.

I've never torqued shocks.
